When I over eat there is that feeling, an uncomfortable feeling where you just feel heavy. Fortunately I don't do this too often, but when I do I admit that I regret the feeling, but never the tasty food. It feels so good to cleanse my body of all the food and oxidants packed inside of me. Besides the obvious cleansing of the intestines and liver, I love the boost of energy. It's no wonder that extra pounds make you more lethargic. Dropping pounds energizes you and there is that added bonus of the cleansing of the mind.
You also boost your immunity, which during the spring is definitely an added perk for me. I don't know what it is about the spring, but I inevitably get some kind of cold or flu. I'm not sure if it's the change in weather or the fact that spring follows Valentines day... a day where I eat an exorbitant amount of sweets. And it is in the spring when we celebrate Easter... another holiday with an amazing candy selection.
