Time Together

Today I went with my daughter to the "Design Center" for her to pick out her counter top, cabinets, flooring, paint, stucco, and so much more!  It was positively crazy all of the things there were to choose!  And I am happy to say that my daughter loved every minute of it!  It really was so much fun, but it wasn't the colors, textures, and styles that brought a smile to my face.  It was the fact that this is the beginning of our living under the same roof.  Time together.

We will have our own separate living spaces.  I mean she has her own family and they need their own private family time.  I will be below in a beautiful, spacious walk out basement, and have my privacy.  It is the time we spend together that I am anxious to experience.

As Baba, I will bake cookies and the aromas will bring my grandchildren, and children for that matter, down to me.  I can't wait to have the wonderful smells of baking spread throughout the house.

My daughter's husband is such a good man.   He is kind, and loving, and incredibly giving.  He works hard and although he has two bachelor's degrees, he is currently enrolled in graduate business school.  I am so proud of him and I certainly do not want to take anything away from him.  I love him dearly, but while he is at business school, every Tuesday and Thursday night... my daughter and I will have our time.  Time together.

This is a sponsored post for University of Denver, however, all the points and views are my own.
