I Can't Wait!

I am frugal.  I should qualify that statement.  I am frugal when it comes to my day to day expenses.  I do love to splurge, but my household expenses I keep very tight.

I don't have any kind of television service.  I get five stations I think.  I only run the dishwasher when it's full.  I only do laundry when I have a full load.  I turn off lights as I leave the room.  And now Christmas has arrived and all my children will be here!  I want to put more lights on the house than Christmas Vacation!  I said I splurge sometimes and this is the time!

I'm sure I will see a bump in my power bill, but then again, what if I had a portable solar generator?  I wonder if anyone has ever attempted using solar power for their Christmas lights.  In Utah!  It could work!  It really doesn't matter, because I am going to light this house with so many lights it will seem like daytime on our street!  Even at midnight!

What a wonderful welcome as each of my children arrive for the holidays!  Nothing says Christmas more to me than having my family around me.  And this year we have two little grandchildren!

I can't wait!
