Right away it was time for the Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Drain Service to park on my driveway for a change. As he searched my pipes, everything upstairs had no water. None at all. I followed the man downstairs and lo and behold, there was a trickle of water. I was thinking well maybe I hadn't completely frozen up. Now this is why the plumber gets paid the big bucks... He asked me to please get the number of the city I live in.
After a very short conversation with the city utilities, it turns out that the water was shut off! I had no water because the water was shut off! I don't think I have ever been so thrilled to have my water cut off. The little trickle of water downstairs was the little bit left over after they turn it off.
So life is good. I just hung around and waited for the water to turn back on and then I am ever so diligent in keeping my kitchen faucet dripping.
That's usually what a good scare does to you.
This is a sponsored post however, all the points and views are my own.
