Peel?

My daughter has a friend who recently had a "peel" done to their face.  When I think of "peel" I think of a bad sunburn and then the peeling of the skin from such a sunburn.  This is similar in that you peel, but it is so much more intense.  Her friend had this done during vacation because you have to allow 7-10 days of downtime.  And I'm talking not presentable, downtime.

This friend had lovely skin, so I was confused as to why they would put themselves through such a rigorous and intensive procedure.  There is prep time the two days before where you stop using any type of grainy scrubs, or any harsh cleansers.  Then you have to do a test patch on your face to make sure it isn't too strong and you get a chance to see how you will react.  To me this is the most important step.  It is safe to say that if this tiny patch does not react well, you can bet I'll be glad I didn't put the peel all over my entire face!

As scary as this sounded to me the results can be incredible.  Tca peels can remove dark spots, lighten age spots, correct acne scars, removes fine lines.  Not being one to buy into cosmetic sales, I was skeptical, but after I saw my daughter's friend, I could see a difference.  Their skin was clearer, more evenly colored.  They quickly added that it was all worth it.  I'm so glad.

This is a sponsored post however, all the points and views are my own.
