My daughter and I were recently in southern California. The temperature was a fabulous 70 to 75 degrees each and everyday. We really were spoiled with incredibly beautiful weather. As we lay on the beach, my daughter simply said "I'm not going back." I laughed... to which she calmly replied, "No. Mom. I'm not going back."
We did board the plane much to her disappointment. We buckled our seatbelts. We turned off our electronic devises. Then we heard it. The captain announced that the temperature in Salt Lake was 12 degrees. 12 degrees! Later into the flight he gave us an update. 10 degrees. And as we taxied to the gate after landing... 8 degrees.
All I can say is that when temperatures get into the single digits it physically hurts. Seriously. You walk outside and take that first breath and it is a big "Ughhh". So I am very very grateful for my HVAC and the warmth it brings to my humble little home... especially since I have no intention of going outside.
This is a sponsored post however, all the points and views are my own.
