I always considered a friend as someone you talk on the phone with, go get ice cream or go to the movies. There were too many friend requests. I didn't have time to spend with all these people. And then one of my daughters old boyfriends sent me a friend request and that's when I thought this whole thing was weird. I'm not going to go hang out with my daughter's old boyfriend! I explained my dilemma with my kids. After that pulled themselves together from laughing, they explained the type of "friend" Facebook had in mind. Still, other problems came about.
People starting "poking" me. Asking if I "liked" something. Wanting me to join a party or masquerade? Again all of this was not in the physical sense, but rather on line. I just turned off my account. It was simply too much... but now I am considering going back. Why?
I have seen so much about business facebook page design. I am a very frugal shopper and I heard when you "like" a business on their facebook page, you get special deals. You can keep up on the latest stuff a business has to offer. If there's a See's facebook page, then that will bring me back. Oh no... there it is!
This is a sponsored post however, all the points and views are my own.
